Happy Friday Confident Ladies!!

This week we've been talking Faith and our topic's been "Nurturing your faith in your busy life". What does incorporating your Faith into your business mean for you?!

For me, it means keeping myself accountable to my ultimate boss, God. I want everything that I do to glorify him and be of highest integrity. My faith and trust in Him gives me so much comfort knowing that I am not in it alone and when things don't work out as planned, I know He has a better plan for me. Anddddd having a strong sense of faith is my #1 key to CONSISTENCY in my business.

And here are a few tips that have worked for me:

1. Identify a routine that is easy to stick with: For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed waking up early and slowlyyyyy getting out of bed. I am up at 5:30am each day to get my hubs off to work and the pup out. From 6-7:30am I spend cuddle time with Turbo and coffee in bed, reading my morning devotional and meditating. It feels great having that to wake up to each morning.

2. Make sure your routine is easy to stick to: Not everyone is a morning person and that is ok! So please don't try to make mornings work, if they just aren't your thang! If evenings are better, stick with evenings. Mid day? Stick with that. The importance here is consistency. It feels best and is easiest to make happen when you have consistency. There are some mornings I begin client calls at 6am and those days I move my “morning routine” to late morning. I would feel pretty crappy if I completely skipped it, so learn to be adaptable.

3. Lastly is Prayer: Now prayer is something I do ALL day long! When I am feeling a little overwhelmed I pray for peace. When I am feeling critical of myself I pray for patience. When I am feeling gratitude I pray a prayer of thanksgiving. Prayer doesn't have to be formal. Sometimes I say a quick prayer in the shower or in the car. My #1 prayer is “I Surrender”. This one releases the control from me and places the situation in God’s hands. Prayer should be a constant conversation with God all day. Think of it like texting your significant other. You check in several times a day I'm sure. "How are you?" "Just thinking of you" "I'm excited about our date night next weekend" Make your prayers a constant conversation to help get you through every aspect of your day.

For me, these are non-negotiables in my life and business. When I don't feel like I have time for devotions or prayer, that's when I need to pray or take time to meditate even more. The “too busy Mindset” is a fast path to a downward spiral of overwhelm.  I know I wouldn't be where I am right now if it weren't for my faith and relationship with God. I don't know about you, but there is no way I could do it all on my own. I truly believe that believing in a power greater than yourself is so humbling. Each and every day I release my stressors, anxieties, and worries by surrendering them in prayer to God.

Do you need to make more time in your life for surrendering the things that are holding you back from that next big step in your business? Need some support with this? Shoot me an email at kate@katecrocco.com and I'll tell you how I can help support you!
