God Centered Abundance

Hey Confident Lady this week we are talking “God Centered Abundance". And here are a few questions to ask yourself this week:

// How does my faith support me in my business?

// Do I believe that God will provide all my needs?

// Am I living my life free from fear of the future, knowing that my business is exactly where it’s supposed to be?

// Am I living my life and business with open hands?

Here are a few tips that have worked for myself and my clients:

1. SURRENDER. Give it up to God. Whatever it is, big or small. Let go of holding onto outcomes so dearly.

2. ACCEPT. Accept and thank God for what he’s already given you. Even though it may not resemble what you prayed for, believe it is what you need. Accept that you are exactly where you should be at this moment.

3. Fill your mind with only positive words. “God is able. God will supply all my needs. He knows the longings of my heart. He can make the impossible possible, because through him he says.... I am possible”.

4.  REFLECT. Be grateful for the abundance in your life + business even before you see it! Start keeping a gratitude journal. If you don’t already, take 20 minutes and write down all of those impossibles God has already made possible for you.

Next I would like to share my personal experience with you girls. I always have learned best through others stories and why I'm so passionate about sharing my own struggles and overcomings.

You have to do the SCARY AND put the work in in order for God to make the next move and play his part. As many of you know, this is my second business. I began my entrepreneurial journey opening my private psychotherapy practice almost three years ago. One of the scariest leaps of faith I had ever taken in my life, but when God wants something to succeed, he will make it succeed. I was able to match my 9-5 salary three months within opening and then ventured out on my own by month four. Was I scared out of my mind not having a steady paycheck? Of course. Did I know God had always provided and would continue to send provision in my life if I trusted? 100%!

Many of you know the next part of the story-- eight months into business #1, I’m fully booked, finally in a groove, and feeling pretty comfortable. For some reason, God doesn’t like me comfortable-- and I’ve learned to be ok with that. I felt a pull to begin coaching and mentoring women. People thought I was nuts “adding more to my plate”. I knew it was crazy, but it was what God wanted me to do. And so I did the scary and began planning business #2. I had no intentions on ever letting go of my first baby, my therapy practice, but God decided (again!) he had different plans for me. Did this new business come with ease like the first? Not at all. It felt like ANYTHING BUT EASE. I couldn’t understand why it would be so hard and defeating if it were in God’s plan. But he knew.

This business helped me build character and taught me a perseverance and reliance on God that I had never experienced before. After months of still going, still questioning WHY, God began to unfold and unlock doors of abundance. It was as if he wanted to FIRST see how much trust I could put in him and THEN once I passed that test, broke open the floodgates of opportunity. Like I said before, when God wants something to succeed, he will make it succeed and boy was I just blown away by how quickly it all began to come together. God showed me he wanted me to make a much BIGGER impact on the world and he would hold my hand and help me do it.

These floodgates of abundance opened a little over a year ago and continue to flow. With babygirl arriving shortly, I know there is an even bigger blessing ahead and this will be the start of a different season for me. I’m not sure exactly what that will be, I recently made some big decisions that scared the you know what out of me, but I felt nudged over and over to do, so time will tell how God will now direct my path.

One last thought to sum this all up.............++++ Mindset is 90% of business success++++ AND living in a mindset of ABUNDANCE makes life and business fun, challenging, fulfilling, and ABUNDANT. Like I mentioned yesterday, this has not been an easy ride. I had to seriously flex my faith muscle, while working my confidence AND mindset all at once. I was SCARED out of my mind, but this drew me even close to God and laid the foundation of me living in an ABUNDANCE mindset.

Can any of you relate to this story and/or topic? Are you in a place of “nudging” and you know you need to trust that abundance will come? I’d love to hear your feedback and even experience with this. Please share below in the comments.
